Marks on wooden furniture

Boring post alert! My old piano that we’ve just brought out of storage has lots of wooden chips and discoloration in some places. Can they be fixed? I have tried wood satin but aside from bringing the rest of it up nicely it’s not helped the discolored bits. Does the walnut thing work?

Pictures attached!

One more picture just to show how it looks in the nice parts that aren’t discolored or chipped too much! I have no idea what wood it is. It’s nothing fancy I don’t think, but it’s got sentimental value so I’d like to fix it if I can.

Apparently rubbing marks like that with a wet tea bag gets them out. I've never tried it myself, but my boss swears by it!

Thanks, that’s one to try!
