Random video in camera roll

A light-hearted but puzzling post!

Well I'm flummoxed!

Was scrolling through my camera roll tonight when I came across a random video in there (from Wednesday).

I've no idea how it got there 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
It's not from any of my Whatsapp conversations, not from Snapchat, I've never watched it on FB or Youtube (but can't download from those anyway) I'm just at a loss as to where it's come from.

My phone is thumb-print to open so no-one else has been on it. It's just a random video of someone showing how they've decorated their child's bedroom & doing a commentary.

Any idea how it could have got there??!

Check your internet history and search the name of the video. Failing that double check all your WhatsApp conversations again.

Also if you hold press the video and click details it may tell you which app it's from!

U may have had your aidrop settings on where you’re viable to anyone so someone may have airdropped the video to u by accident?

It's probably Airdrop. I know someone who got a dick pic from a stranger because she had it open to anybody

Thanks for the suggestions. Have checked Airdrop - set to 'receiving off', definitely not from any whatsapp chat, have checked internet history & nothing it could be from. I'm getting a bit obsessed now!

Don't think I can get photo details - it's an iphone.

Have you got any muted whatsapp groups? Could have come from one of those.

Could one of your kids have made the video? DD1 likes making videos on my iPhone and doesn’t have the code.

Thanks for your suggestions. Someone had posted a video in a whatsapp group i'm admin of but then deleted it, it automatically went to my camera roll. Have checked the times and they match up. No ghosts in my phone after all 🤣
