Going to the O2

Is there anything fun nearby that we can do before we go to a concert, or anywhere particularly good to eat fairly nearby?

We live so close to London but just never really venture in!

We're going twice; once with a 16yr old and once just 2 adults so looking for ideas for both please!

The o2 is ginormous! Have a Google, loads of places in and around it to eat.

Take the emirates air line across the docks and back, it’s a great view over London.

The o2 is full of restaurants. Everything very chain-y and nothing super special, but you won’t lack from choice.

I've been to the o2 loads so was thinking more outside the actual arena. Thanks for the ideas so far though :)

Tbh it’s not the best area, just full of new builds. Get the bus or a cheap taxi into actual Greenwich?

North Greenwich is basically retail parks and new builds. Greenwich itself has loads of great restaurants and museums if you have enough time to go there first. Or if you're coming into North Greenwich via the jubilee line from north of the river, you could pause at Canary Wharf, there is a good shopping centre there and some slightly less chains restaurants.

There are dozens of places to eat at the O2 but don't leave it too late to go and eat or you won't get in anywhere. Have fun. ☺️
