Do they go all day long, or all through the town?

I sing the latter, but all my friends seem to sing the former. Which do you sing?

We always used to say "all day long "

MockerstheFeManist · 05/05/2019 20:04

.....and we all go round the bend.

All through the town is the American version. I try to discourage DS from singing that version to hide how much YouTube I let him watch GrinBlush

All day long. I sing various verses of my own invention, too!

All day long.

I've heard all through the town on American TV programmes though.

Soubriquet · 05/05/2019 20:32

All day long

But lots of programs do all through the town now

An, that explains it. I grew up abroad, where English language TV was pretty much all American. I watched Barney and Sesame Street whilst my British comtemporaries watch Teletubbies and PlayDays.
