Trip to east coast USA

Hello there,

We're planning a trip to New York and Washington later this year.

  1. Can anyone recommend an area to stay in Washington DC - we're looking for somewhere with cheaper hotels but still quick metro access to the sights.
  2. Can anyone recommend somewhere to stay for a night between Washington and Niagara Falls?
