Best crowd funding platform? Crowdfunder, PayPal?

Does anyone have any experience?

I was looking at using Crowdfunder as it says no fees for personal fund raisers but then someone said they may be sneaky and still take a percentage but I can't see that on their website anywhere?

Friend recommended I use PayPal but am nervous about getting multiple donations mixed up within my own finances as I use PayPal for shopping, etc? Is there anyway you can set up a sub section in PayPal and divert all donations there?

What's it for? I've used crowdfunding via Just Giving for a fundraiser that was for a not-for-profit organisation rather than a registered charity. They took a % but I'm pretty sure they all do.
