And how they show they are attracted to women. I find it slightly unsettling. I always notice if a man is looking me up and down, staring at me, most of it I ignore even though I'm single so no ethical reasons. But if they talk to me, and make any comment about my appearance, or do the male gaze thing of looking at my body, I get offended. If they start a conversation about something I feel relaxed. As long as it's not about me. My friend tells me I'm over sensitive, and should just relax into it. But I can't. My immediate reaction is to recoil, and it shows apparently, I usually look angry which puts n end to it, except with the most entitled and obnoxious who see it as some sort of game.
I think it must be my age, I just can't tolerate it. At the moment there is one particular man that has been doing this but I a subtle way, and I don't want to mess it up because I actually like him. What the heck is up with me? How to relax?
