Does the isle of random stuff ever include a cheapie tent suitable for a festival? If so when and roughly how much, please?

yes they do but maybe a bit early yet they usually do the camping specials around the end of may when the weather starts warming up, or may be worth looking on ebay

They’ve started the camping specials early this year; I saw some stuff two weeks ago but don’t recall a tent yet (but then I wasn’t looking for one). Also check Facebook Marketplace - that seems to be growing a lot.

Yes, they had a variety of tents including inflatable ones which looked interesting. You can google their upcoming special offers about 2 weeks in advance and some things you can buy online.
