Please can you help me source a passable table runner? This is the dullest thing I've ever asked anyone and a bit of me has died inside just thinking about it...
New pine bench, designed to take some distress but I'm not ready for it to suffer just yet!
I've got friends coming for lunch next weekend and wanted a bit of protection for it from the scraping of dishes, oil etc.
BUT all runners I can see are either damask, tassly wedding dressing or disposable Hessian.
Help. (Or shoot me for asking! 
)
