Workbooks for marriage counselling?

DH and I love each other a lot, but are struggling to communicate without misunderstandings.

He's working long hours, we have a young baby, etc etc etc.

Before we try marriage counselling, could anyone recommend a workbook to help us?

The marriage course. See if you can borrow the dvds from the library and get the workbooks on ebay.

Thank you @redexpat - how religious is it? I looked on Amazon and it mentioned a Christian theme - not a problem for me but DH is an atheist!

Im athiest and its less preachy than a school assembly. I think they pray at the end of each session, and make very occasional references to love and the different themes in the Bible but its really not preachy.

The Gottman books are very good.
