I'm currently sitting at the kitchen table enjoying a cup of tea in silence, listening to one of the girls moving about upstairs.

I had planned to be up and out early to town but then realised it's Sunday! So, I'll have another drink while it's quiet then get sorted for town & the girls will spend some time with their dad.

Dd2 has a bug hunt to do for homework so we'll head into the jungle back garden later on to do that, and probably do some baking too.

Roast chicken for tea and a chilled evening doing a few small repair jobs in front of a film. No idea what yet though.

What about you? :)

I have walked the dog, been to the gym and Booths. Had a cup of coffee watching an episode of Miranda.

I am going to tidy up the garden and might tackle the green patio slabs (or not), bake a date walnut and banana loaf, make something for dinner, use my rowing machine and have a bath (bought some lovely bubble bath and salted almond chocolate earlier).

DD is with STBXH, I am still getting used to having days/weekends to myself.

Getting the chainsaw out in a minute - we lost two trees in yesterday’s winds and we’ve got a contractor coming in to spray some of our fields this week so he needs access . Have got the cockerel prepped and ready to go in the oven in an hour or two , then it’ll be peeling the vegetables with a Poirot on the kitchen telly whilst stopping the dog from opening the oven door and making off with the dinner until evening time . Then an early night before work in the morning .

DH is working next door - as usual - in his newly cleaned (he's got an intern coming to work on Monday Smile) office. I am supposed to do some archive work but I am feeling lazy watching "Love your garden" episodes.
DD has put her maths examn behind her - bio, MLF2, literature and music still to come.
DS is recovering - he is on a two week work experience at a special place that knows about AS.

Late start this morning, DH has already done the garden jobs and I’ve been to Tesco and bought some new flowering plants which I’ll plant this afternoon. Lunch and watching football is next, then we’ll have a barbecue in the garden with a nice bank holiday Sunday glass of wine. Line of duty and rocky road cheesecake to finish the day off nicely!

Sorting the house, taking stuff to skip and clothes banks, then going gym and spa area, we were gifted a meal at a Michelin star restaurant just round the corner from us so will go there tonight!

I've cleared out half of my kitchen cupboards got loads more space now.
I need to do some cooking/baking this afternoon. Make a pork roast.
Then I plan to have a nice soak in the bath with a book.
Currently lying on the sofa with a coffee then I'll get up and go start cooking.

What a lovely thread

Got up late (10am). Got ready and DP and I went into town. I needed to buy some make up and he wanted some shoes.

Came home about 12:30, had some lunch and have been watching professional bake off.

Might do some work this afternoon or maybe a walk (possibly to the pub).

Supper is partly ready so not much to do.

Evening will watch last weeks episode of Line of Duty and then at 9pm watch the finale.

Just finished putting washing away and now seem to have got stuck to the bed. Slightly hungover (a large amount of some kind of Japanese sake gin seemed like a good idea last night). Walked the dog earlier, I should really clean the bathroom and hoover later. I might have some crisps first though.
