Went to the cinema today

And there was a family of three (mum, dad and young daughter)
The film was a 3 hour long film. The little girl sat with her feet on the back of the chair in front, watching YouTube on her phone from the minute she sat down.
This continued even when the film had started.
The dad was taking randim pictures, with the flash in and the mum kept taking selfies. None of them were watching the film at all.
What is the point? Eventually a woman in front got up and told them it was distracting everybody else and they left, after muttering about moaning bitches and nosy fuckers. (i tried to get DP to complain to staff, but he wouldn't. I have autism so find that kind of thing very difficult both to deal with or complain about)

A few months ago I complained to a lady with a gang of children who read her kindle throughout the film.
She continued with her reading and gave me dirty looks.

Ridiculous behaviour and it probably cost them nearly £40 for the priveledge

I rarely go to the cinema because I cannot stand being around people like this.
I much prefer sitting in the comfort of my own living room.
Think it's my age. I can't stand unisex toilets either as they usually stink of piss. Sorry to derail.

This is why I avoid the Cinema now I'm a middle aged grump. I especially hate the sound of rustling packets which you now experience all through the film. I have found cinemas with sofas are generally better though.

As long as they didn't eat any food, though!

Crazy, I miss that fact cinemas used to observed by staff to sort out problems. I had someone make phone calls during the movie once. People complained and he ignored them and eventually someone went and got staff who removed him. So annoying though.
