Nappy is leaking in a baby carrier

We got a hiking baby carrier for our toddler. It's been in use for less than a week and every single time we put her in it her nappy is leaking terribly. Did anyone have the same problem? But for that DD is very happy in it. It's comfortable, she easily falls asleep. Nappies are def the right size. No accidents when she is out. Does it mean we will never be able to take her for long walks?😩 any life hacks? I understand it must be the pressure but people do use them successfully for their children, don't they? Such a disappointment

I’ve never had this problem with mine... presumably you change nappy before you set off and you’re using the little foot stirrups to take a bit of pressure off?

You could try getting a wrap designed to go over reusable nappies and put that over disposable just for walks. They’re meant to be v good at containing leaks, though haven’t tried myself.

Try a double nappy, one on top of the other.

You could use a cloth nappy or boost a disposable nappy with a cloth booster (hemp is best for boosting, avoid microfibre to prevent compression leaks. You could try a wrap but I suspect if the issue is compression it won’t really help.
