Red tent - absolute nightmare?

I need a new tent for me and my two DC. They're both growing and I'd like to get one which will give them their own bedrooms and I've found a perfect one, I think..

Except it is red and the pictures make the inside look really red. My DS has always been an early riser and I don't fancy any more 6am starts as he's finally a lot better.

Does anyone know if it would make the inside ridiculously bright in the early morning? It is double skinned and our current one isn't exactly dark and does get bright.. I'm just wondering if the red light in particular would mean an early start?

I am watching The Red Tent on Netflix atm.

Can you get to one of the tent display places?

I found I got a headache in a red tent. Fine in blue or cream ones.

I don't know anything about tents but I love to read! Can someone please link to the book you're all confusing this with?

I clearly need to get some sleep. I read your op to mean you were looking for tents to use indoors to give them their own bedroom space... Had visions of multiple tents crammed into a room. Oh dear.

We're away this coming weekend but unfortunately, the new one won't have arrived in time. But very excited - the DC love camping and once you're all set up, there really is nothing like it! Might take some hot water bottles though!
