I'm knackered tonight; anyone else?

I started a new job on Monday, haven't felt too bad all week...it's like the week's tiredness has all hit as I'm cooking tea

I was throwing up every twenty minutes from 11pm to 4am last night. I’m shattered. I need to put the baby to bed, make her some food for tomorrow, and then I will be straight to bed. Can’t wait.

I hope you get a better night's sleep tonight @Needallthesleep!

Had two Ménière's attacks this week (extremely bad dizziness) so I'm wiped out. Just going shopping today finished me off. I'm ready for bed.

Im ready for my dinner but haven't got the energy to cook it

Topsy44 · 03/05/2019 18:23

Yes! I cannot wait to go to bed. Absolutely everything has irritated me today as haven't had enough sleep this week! Will put Dd to bed very soon and breathe a sigh of relief that I'll hopefully get a good night's sleep tonight and will feel more cheerful tomorrow. Not enough sleep makes me very miserable!!!

Hoping the toddler goes to bed without drama tonight. Has been a long week with late nights and early mornings between him and the baby. So tired!

GMtoBe · 03/05/2019 18:26

Me! DD is just over chickenpox and has started teething molars again so more sleepless nights! We're on the way to visit family right now and I know she'll sleep even worse while we're away.

I'm absolutely goosed today. I've been at work since 8, done a 60 mile round trip, school pick up then the weekly shop. Arrived home and have had a barney with DP because I wanted to have a lie down while he unpacked the shopping. He's been off work today and cleaned the kitchen so thinks he shouldn't have to put the shopping away. 100 questions about why I'm so tired, but can manage to make myself a brew. I'm snappy because I'm tired and called him bone idle. He's sulking now and cooking his own tea whilst I sort the kids tea out. Cant wait to go to bed.

It’s a mental load starting a new job isn’t it?

I came back from the States a week ago and I swear the jet lag is dragging on. I want to nap all the time!!

lucysmam · 03/05/2019 18:49

SeaView, yes, I think that's it. It's not a particularly difficult or taxing job, just the mental load & keeping track (first 'proper' job in a while too!).

I hope everyone gets a decent night's sleep tonight & is more refreshed in the morning.

I've been stuck in a busy train station in London (trains cancelled) since 5.30pm; I'm holed up in a corner after a panic attack with a cup of tea and headphones on to try and deal with the noise.
I'm exhausted.
I've got to go to a hen do tomorrow.
I don't want to.
