Carpet & robot hoover or Laminate?

With known dust mite/mold allergies, would you put a new carpet through upstairs and get a robot hoover, or just replace it all with laminate/luxury vinyl tile so there is no carpet in the house? Downstairs already vinyl/LVT

Laminate/ wood and a hoover as I’m lazy with a broom! Plus washable rugs for next to beds

Thanks, I think that’s the best option. I hate the feeling of dust on laminate, which you don’t get with carpet, but that’s because the carpet is holding all that dirt!

We’ve got a roomba and LVT floors everywhere having just moved from a carpeted house and the roomba is used far more now than when we had carpets sucking up all the dust.

How often do you have to empty it? Do you leave it go daily?

I’d say hard floors and a robot vacuum. You’d be surprised what they pick up.
