Abbreviations

I’m new to mumsnet and Gransnet. Is there a list of meanings of abbreviations being used. Maybe its an age thing but I can’t understand some. I.e. dd. Dh dl?????

A lot of the abbreviations used are standard abbreviations that you will find in use on many Internet forums.

I can’t stand the abbreviations, it takes seconds to write daughter, son etc.

MIL is the only one I find acceptable.

It's not compulsory to use the acronyms. They irritate me greatly.

Unless you're talking about general ones such a lol, btw and other common abbreviations then the OP was asking about "some" the Mumsnet specific ones which frankly I've never seen until I came here...
