RIP

May the force go with you and may Leia be there ready to greet you old friend.

So sad, seemed like a nice chap who was happy to dress up and visit sick kids etc

Hating this part of getting older. Sad

Dad too particularly as his height had affected his health do much in later life.

Graphista · 03/05/2019 01:10

I'm sure it caused issues most of his life. Strain on the heart etc.

Almost 75 so while a decent "innings" perhaps he'd have lived longer without those factors.

Incredibly sad for his family.

Just read he also set up a foundation basically to help the families of sick kids with the financial burden that can place on them Sad

What a lovely man.

Aw Helena not seen you in ages.

I'm surprised this thread hasn't had more responses especially today. Is there another thread I've missed?

Graphista ive tagged you into a few threads recently.

HelenaDove · 04/05/2019 01:50

Sorry didnt mean to sound sharp. I tagged you into this one because i watched it over the Easter period and cant get it out of my head since.

Some of it has come to fruition. It was quite a chilling watch in some ways.

I don't get emails about tags I turned it off as I was getting loads when they first brought it in!

I'm not doing so good at the moment (you'll know what I mean) so sticking to fairly light tv but I'll add it to a list I keep on my phone of things I want to watch but I need to be in right frame of mind for.

I loved Edward Woodward too having grown up watching the equalizer, I'm also a fan of charmed and his son appeared in a few episodes as the source.

The Equalizer is currently being repeated on Forces TV. They started showing it two months ago. 9pm Monday to Friday. So ive been rewatching it every night. im basically 14 again Smile

I loved it as a teen (still do) i had one of the TV tie in novels. It lead me to check out his back catologue so ive watched Callan and 1990 (the one in my link) on you tube. 1990 is a bit of a harrowing watch. So you are right to wait until you are up to it.

Sorry you are not doing too well Thanks Thanks

Graphista · 04/05/2019 18:48

Thanks.

How do you get forces tv? I don't think I get that.

Forces TV is 96 on freeview and 165 on freesat. They repeat the previous weeks episodes of The Equalizer late on Sat and Sun nights.

Unfortunately according to Forces TV fb page not everyone on freeview can get it but its worth doing a scan just in case.
