I need something to read, fairly easy reading but gripping/page turner, if you can. Thank you!!

A book I always recommend if you like a thriller is Into The Darkest Corner. Read it some years ago but it was fantastic.

Great, thanks, it's on kindle unlimited too, making the most of my free trial!

I enjoy British crime books. The recent series I read is Damien Boyd's DI Nick Dixon. I also enjoyed Ed James' Scott Cullen series.

'Trust me I'm a (Junior) Doctor' by Max Pemberton
&
'This is going to hurt' by Adam Kay

Absolutely hilarious books.

The funniest ever though, has to be 'The Sound of Laughter' by Peter Kay! Good Lord I have never laughed so much in my life!!

I've just read The Loving Wife and really enjoyed it. Far fetched page turner that kept me entertained for a couple of days.

I absolutely second the rec for Into the Darkest Corner. It’s one of the few psychological thrillers that’s actually really genuinely held me gripped.

I also read The Star of the North by DB John recently and loved it. It’s a thriller set in North Korea. I couldn’t put it down.

The Ruth Ware books are good, psychological thrillers but with good characters. all freestanding so don't have to read as a series.
