i was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease about 3 years, I have met with a specialist 3/4 times, I have 100% function and was signed off to year blood tests with my GP. I found out due to my dad being diagnosed at 60, I went for the tests. As it’s never effected me I don’t really think about it. Today was my first midwife appointment (I’m 8 weeks) and told that I know need to take anti coagulants via injection through my stomach. I’m absolutely blow away by this in hormonal pieces. Is there anyone out there that has had this that can advise me further? I know PKD can also cause Preeclampsia also. I just feel so shocked!
