Bike Stabilisers

I need a quick straw poll,

Would your 6 year old son (year 2) be embarrassed of they had stabilisers on their bike?

DS needs to take his bike to beavers tonight and DH thinks it would be embarrassing for DS.

He has dyspraxia and struggles to ride even with the stabilisers on. The session is more about equipment and safety rather than riding.

Will the other kids make fun of him? Should we keep him at home this week?

Mine is nearly 6 and nowhere near able to cycle without stabilisers!

Take him and the stabilisers!

There may be kids that take the piss but hopefully they will be pulled up on it.

I know you want to protect him but sadly it can be a cruel world and it’s better to teach your child to deal with any nastiness rather than hide them away.

I expect there any be others with stabilisers.
