My period is 2 weeks late and I'm absolutely not pregnant. Do I just wait and see if my cycle resets?

I presume GP wouldn't entertain me. I feel fine, just slightly worried Confused

If it's just a one off and you're definitely not pregnant, I'd wait it out, at least for a bit. Mine was a week late last month, but when I looked I could see that I'd increased my exercise regime quite a lot so it was probably down to that. I think I must have ovulated late because I had no pmt or anything?

Only problem is now I don't know when to expect the next one!

I'm getting slightly paranoid about it coming on randomly. I've got a wedding coming up too, it'll be my luck I'll get it then and feel like crap.

Nothing's changed, I'm not stressed- but I'm definitely not pregnant. Very weird.

Yep bodies are annoying aren't they? Mine was due the week before Dh and I were due to go away- ended up coming the day we left and stopping the day we got home.

I had this last month - nhs website said until you miss three cycles and to double check with testing if there is any chance of pregnancy. As it was I was just late. I have no tubes so zero chance of pregnancy but your right it is weird.

How annoying!

In the end how late were you MrsPear?

I once missed 2 periods for no obvious reason. Wasn't pregnant and all blood tests were normal. I was quite worried as we were planning to TTC, I got pregnant a few months later so it must have just been a weird blip.

Any chance you've not been eating enough? A very low calorie diet threw my period off a while back.

yellowalstroemeria · 01/05/2019 19:31

No, I'm not a dieter. I think it must just be a blip- presuming it'll be horrific when it comes though.
