I have a lovely DH and two DC but I’m finding that due to a house move a couple of years ago that our social circle is dwindling. DH isn’t bothered AT ALL in fact although he will socialise he prefers pottering and our own company. I like having barbecues etc.
I have a lot of females friends that I see by myself - dinner, theatre, drinks etc but it is the socialising as families that I’m missing.
I imagine the answer is that I will need to make more of an effort where I live to invite people over but it feels such hard work starting at the beginning again with people! Not sure what the point of my thread is other than to moan and chat about it.
