Golden circle Wembley Stadium

Anyone been? I’m stressing as I’ve bought tickets for the Capital Summer Ball and got allocated the golden circle, not realising it was standing only. It’s a long concert! Do people sit down between artists etc. Will it be rammed? What about access to loos etc? I’m going with a friend and our 14 year old DD’s. Can anyone reassure me?

I’ve done exactly the same! The first tickets it released were ‘pitch’ and it clearly said standing with an age restriction so I let those go. But then the golden circle came up with no warning so I went for it. I’m going with 3 kids, one is 8 😳

Hi Catherine. It’s not just me then! It’s such a scrum to get tickets, I was waiting in the queue for quite a while and then suddenly you are rushed into making a decision. Hopefully it will be fine. People I’ve spoken to say it will be busy at the front but quieter at the back and you still get a good view. Hoping people will sit down between acts - they can’t stand up the whole day. The kids we are taking are delighted they are going to be so close to the action. See you there 🤪

I was offered these too - at 8 this morning ha! I changed them for seated tickets in level 1 as I wasn't sure if there was an age restriction on the golden circle like there normally is on standing tickets .....

Kinda wishing I'd took the golden circle now Grin

I’ve just seen something in the small print on my email, children under 12 not permitted in the standing areas. Gutted! Will call in the morning. Hopefully I’ll be able to sort something out.

Oh fluffy socks, I’m kinda wishing I got level 1 but I was so stressed out trying to make sure I got tickets that I just went for the first offered!

How did you change them? Did you just release them back or did you talk to someone? I am hoping I can change ours if we aren’t allowed in with children under 12. Bit annoyed at myself for not realising but it didn’t come up with a message like it did with the pitch standing tickets.

I'm trying to vainly remember if when I was in golden circle was at Wembley Arena or the Stadium, however my experience was that it wasn't packed at all. We were actually very close to the stage and had a load of room around us.

Worst part was Ariana Grande coming on as the row of 12 year old behind us screeched.

My sisters and I left during her set for food!

When they gave me golden circle there was a tiny line that said "change tickets" and then gave me options - level 1 etc with the prices next to it so just chose level 1 and they gave me the best they had

I'm sure you'll be able to swap them; is the helpline open? Maybe you could try now before the general sale tomorrow

You can go up into the reserved seating from the normal pitch ones...we did last year for a bit-and have gone for the same option this years...not sure about the golden circle.

@thelastnigel - do the unreserved seats get taken v quickly or is it usually easy enough to find a couple? Is it fairly easy to move from the standing areas up to the seats? Thanks.

Turns out under 12s not allowed in the golden circle. Please let me know if anyone wants to swap 5 seated tickets for golden circle tickets!

So bloody annoying! They will refund them if I can buy 5 seated ones but my bank balance is not that big!!!

Damn. I had this one with McFly OMFG zone tickets. No under 16’s.
My dd was 14 and very young looking - booked her in for a MAC makeup lesson in London. Once I’d said why we were there to the make up artists they did a full face make up (usually focus on eyes or contouring or whatev)
One of the girls was Emma Willis’s make Up artist and was going with HER to watch the show - she was gutted we had way better ‘seats’ than her 😂

QOD - love it! Luckily my DD and her friends are 14 so they are old enough for this particular gig. It’s just me I’m worried about being an old lady and all 😅

There was plenty of room as I recall.
If not you can always go to the back where it's less crowded and have a little sit down on the floor Smile
We are going this year as well-really looking forward to it.

Glad to hear someone else is worried like me Canshopwillshop I'm going with my 15 yr old DD and can't imagine being able to stand for 8 hrs! I rushed in to buying at the time. Hopefully it won't be so crowded at back of golden circle, but my DD wants to get there earlier to stand at frontShock !

Canshopwillshop thanks for letting me know about the seating that's great, I think the weather looks a bit more promising for Saturday.... fingers crossed for no rain!
