The doctor's receptionist suggested that my DH should pay for his prescription.
Is she out of order?
I certainly feel that she is.

What has it got to do with the receptionist? Surely it is the chemist who asks.

I always say ‘Yay, one of the benefits of having cancer’.

DH went to get a new renewal form.

“Why do you say that?” He should have said!

He left work early to get the form and was still thinking about work.
He should have said but I don't know if they think he's lived too long or can afford the prescription!

This

SilverHawk · 30/04/2019 22:04

That is the full story.
The receptionist should have no idea of our income.

OP posts:
kaytee87 · 30/04/2019 22:05

It's not the full story. Why does he have an exemption certificate and what exactly did the receptionist say?

SilverHawk · 30/04/2019 22:07

I would say on the CQC the place requires improvement!
Some areas are inadequate :

OP posts:
SilverHawk · 30/04/2019 22:09

Th e exemption is for one of those MEDICAL reasons listed.

OP posts:
kaytee87 · 30/04/2019 22:10

So if it's for a medical reason then what's your income got to do with it? What did the receptionist actually say?

SilverHawk · 30/04/2019 22:13

Exactly!
Nowt to do with her is it?
She suggested he should pay and not be given the form.

OP posts:
kaytee87 · 30/04/2019 22:20

If that's what she said then he should make a complaint

SilverHawk · 30/04/2019 22:27

Really have no idea what's going on at that surgery. Might well be closed down soon.

OP posts:
lyralalala · 30/04/2019 23:18

If he asked for the form and she suggested he should just pay then he should complain.
