Medical Exemption Certificate and receptionist

The doctor's receptionist suggested that my DH should pay for his prescription.
Is she out of order?
I certainly feel that she is.

What has it got to do with the receptionist? Surely it is the chemist who asks.

I always say ‘Yay, one of the benefits of having cancer’.

DH went to get a new renewal form.

“Why do you say that?” He should have said!

He left work early to get the form and was still thinking about work.
He should have said but I don't know if they think he's lived too long or can afford the prescription!

It's not the full story. Why does he have an exemption certificate and what exactly did the receptionist say?

I would say on the CQC the place requires improvement!

So if it's for a medical reason then what's your income got to do with it? What did the receptionist actually say?

If that's what she said then he should make a complaint

Really have no idea what's going on at that surgery. Might well be closed down soon.

If he asked for the form and she suggested he should just pay then he should complain.
