Gift idea for 14 year old?

I need a gift idea for a 14 year old girl. I am thinking something edible

So far I've looked at Thorntons, Biscuteers and a quarter off but nothing sort of "gets me that ohhh yes feeling" I have about £25-30 to spend,
any ideas?

Not a voucher for somewhere like kaspas?

Or make up a gift basket with lots of themed stuff eg if they like Galaxy you could put the cookies, minstrels, bars etc

Enko · 30/04/2019 22:27

Id Never heard of Kaspas but looked like a good idea (none near her though)

I would prefer something I can buy online as she doesnt live close to me.

Is there a special reason you’re thinking edibles?

It wouldn’t be my first thought

Not that I would tell my dd, but she's coming up 14 with shocking skin, so £25 worth of sugar would do her no favours!!
Cold, hard cash, iTunes voucher or my dd would prefer Waterstones over her mates' preference of Hollister for a voucher.

Enko · 30/04/2019 22:43

Thinking Edibles as is sort of become a " thing" between our families that we send edibles to each other.

I dont want to send cash and whilst I may consider a voucher im not massively keen.

I am open for ideas for other presents but I am keen on the idea of something fun I guess.

Why food? Weird gift for a teen girl I think. If you fixed in the idea get her a load of American sweets, not expensive chocolate as she won't get it.

I'd send her something from Skinny Dip, like:

www.skinnydiplondon.com/products/banana-palm-protective-case

Or

www.skinnydiplondon.com/products/luna-fever-backpack

Even a selection like 2 of their sheet masks, a lighting cable, a new phone power grip and a notepad

Soundasleep the Original Speaker Pillow https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000XS42RQ/ref=cmswwrcppapiii_S5mYCbK17QEVB

A speaker pillow?

Food items because it has become a " thing" between the 2 families.. I am not keen on going for "norm" stuff like skinnydip and pillows as I do not get to be with this family very often (we live far apart) so I am not aware of what exactly she has.. Hence the food items become good. its fun..

You can buy toasting marshmallow kits that come with little burners to toast the marshmallow over. If you google a number of brands appear - £19 on not on the high Street and a little cheaper elsewhere,

(You can also buy the wonderfully titled “chafing gel burners” much, much cheaper and put together your own pack but this is obviously not so well presented)

Nousernameforme · 01/05/2019 08:09

You can get Japanese snacks and treats in a lucky bag situation for around that price www.tofucute.com/search_result?keywords=lucky+bag. That's always popular with my teens

Urban decay make up.

Or, you know you could ask her.

federationrep · 02/05/2019 08:09

My DD would've liked a Starbucks or costa gift card at that age. I know you're not keen on a voucher but maybe get a re-usable mug to send with it. She also loves Bojangles chocolates or Williescacoa bars.

Has anyone said Chic on choc?

I have sent my 21 year old stuff from Hotel Chocolat, and Biscuiteers, in the past.
I sent my mum something from Betty's (can't remember website address, but Betty's of Harrogate) for Mother's Day, which she said was lovely. Might be worth a look.
Have also sent stuff from Pong Cheeses before now, if she is a cheese fan.
