Finding out who owns a house?

Is it possible to find the owner or letting agent of a house? New tenants moved in to a house nearby and are causing problems. Tried speaking to them but has had no effect whatsoever.

Is speaking to letting agent/owner next step?

You could try putting a post code into Rightmove to see whether the add for the house is still there (even though inactive). There should be agent's name there.

Do a Land Registry search. Costs about £3.

Not showing on rightmove anymore, have reported online to council but wont receive updates. There’s an elderly couple living next door so god knows how they’re feeling. They’ve lived in the house all their married lives and now have people singing and dancing 5 yards away from their kitchen window til 4am.

I’ll look into land registry now- didn’t know I was able to do this so thank you

Your local authority should have a list of Registered Landlords on their website. You need the address or post code. It is an offence to rent out a property without being registered.
