Got takeaway for the kids and they haven't delivered DS meal

On the app there's only the option for a refund or to get it reviewed and a call back in 25 hours Confused

He wants his tea

Anyone know who to call??

It's McDonald's btw

Call the branch and explain, they might send it back out if you've got proof it was ordered and paid for. Their screw up

ChrisPrattAteMyHomework · 30/04/2019 17:54

But it's through uber? How will they sort that?

You do get the money back. We once got £8.99 for a missed bigmac meal (obviously they gave us a little compensation) but DP had to go without his meal.

Not sure a young DC, on the promise of a MacD will be so understanding?

Only real options are:

To go out and get home one / send DP / all go via drive through

Bribe him with something else

Reorder and pay the delivery and surcharge

Branch arent going to go any trouble to get a single missed meal to you I'm afraid!!!

UnPocoLoco2 · 30/04/2019 18:05

Just give him a peanut butter sandwich instead

ChrisPrattAteMyHomework · 30/04/2019 18:07

I don't drive.

If I did I would go get it.

McDs said there's nothing they can do. I have to contact uber. Can't get through to them.

So have to take the online refund :/

Poor DS.

I'll have to make him something else

Give him yours and make yourself something else, then complain/get a refund

Hiphopopotamus · 30/04/2019 18:14

Order another one and make sure you get it refunded!

letsgohooray · 30/04/2019 18:27

Split up the food that you did get and bumph it up with stuff you rustle up for everyone to share

ChrisPrattAteMyHomework · 30/04/2019 20:57

I couldn't order another as it was a 1.99 item and the delivery was 3.50!

He got a wrap of the day.

I couldn't give him mine as I didn't get anything.

His brother gave him a burger and he had chips.

I applied for a refund

Did ds survive this utterly traumatic experience?

imnottoofussed · 05/05/2019 18:45

Did anyone say it was an utterly traumatic experience?

On a side note I ordered from Uber eats McDonald's the other day and when the app said the driver was on the way, his car was nowhere in the vicinity of the restaurant. God knows where he had been with my food Confused

PinkHeart5914 · 05/05/2019 18:50

Did ds survive this utterly traumatic experience?

Did you get out of bed the wrong side or something today, nobody said it was traumatic but OP paid for something she didn’t receive which isn’t on and presumably her ds is only a child and sometimes children get upset by these things because they are well children.

FiremanKing · 05/05/2019 19:15

Nevermind him being a child if you ordered McDonald’s/other takeaway for adults and one meal was missing, I bet the adult would feel miffed at missing their food!

NorthernRunner · 05/05/2019 19:27

Uber eats is the most reliably shit food delivery service. It makes me so angry!
