Potting on my chilli plants grown from seed - I love watching things grow!

Watching a chicken peck at my lunch on the patio table knowing I might get the last laugh!

A half hour nap on the sofa with 4 year old dd, as I was dropping off I felt her stroke my hair and kiss my hand.

Bedding on the washing line on a sunny day. Don't know why but it makes me happy.

Coming in starving from work and the dinner I put in the slow cooker at 7am is bloody delicious! Yum

You got chillies to germinate??! Respect.

I’ve got a forward facing window seat for at least the first half of my 4 hour train journey home 😊

Had the washing out today, freshly laundered air smelling towel for my shower later.

Bought a Waitrose individual trifle in a pot. Ate it whilst sitting in the sun outside. It was heavenly.

A huge walk with my dog in the sunshine ☀️

Watching my child play cricket. I just love sitting there for three hours, doing nothing but sitting, often in sunshine, with dogs at my feet, and watch him compete with other see the joy on his face if he takes a wicket or hits a four or six ball. Priceless.

Coming across a large patch of wild flowers in bloom whilst on a walk.
Sitting colouring for five minutes with one of the children I work with who had ADHD. Five minutes concentrating is a lifetime for him

I realised there was chicken breast in the freezer stash so I didn't have to go out and buy some 😂 I was made up ! Can't half tell I'm a mum 😂

DS found a cracking puddle to splash in and he loved it. His smile was beautiful.

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to have more than one a day (although since I started the thread I'm going to do it anyway)

I heard a cuckoo this morning, first one of the year.

We sacked off the kids' usual clubs and went to the park

@washinglions I did indeed get them to germinate - just seeds from a fresh chilli from Aldi, they've been growing very happily on my windowsill!
