I keep seeing threads raving about Aldi chocolate, I’m going to try it. What would you recommend?

The Moser Roth dark chocolate is really good - if you want to pace yourself you can get a pack of 5 small bars

twosoups1972 · 30/04/2019 11:20

Oohh dh would love that, he likes dark. Any milk recommendations?

The Moser Roth 85% dark chocolate is amazing. At the complete opposite end of the scale so are the white chocolate mousse bars.

claragolightly · 30/04/2019 11:24

The Moser Roth almond and orange (orange box, five per pack) and the mint version (green box) are delicious. Hit the spot for me, a Dairy Milk -aholic thats now vegan!

kaytee87 · 30/04/2019 11:29

I like the milk one in the blue packet.
I'd forgotten about it actually and now I'm on a diet, damn.

twosoups1972 · 30/04/2019 11:30

Almond and orange sounds lovely!

The chocolate Pringles as we call them. Chocolate in a tube with crunchy bits in, they are thin and look just like Pringles. I've got a bar of pretzel chocolate at home I'm waiting to try looks lovely

tinyradish · 30/04/2019 11:39

The Moser Roth dark chocolate with sea salt - 5 individually wrapped bars. Absolutely delicious! The orange & almond is really good too. :)

imsorryiasked · 30/04/2019 11:41

The choceur brand ones are really nice too especially the hazelnut one.
Don't like the dairyfine brand

sadkoala · 30/04/2019 11:55

Any Moser Roth (5 bars in a packet) chocolate. Milk is our firm favourite in the household atm.

magicstar1 · 30/04/2019 12:04

Moser Roth is lovely chocolate...at the moment my Aldi has the Easter boxes for half price. Lovely truffles and pralines.
Choceur is good for a cheaper price...and for making chocolate biscuit cake etc.
I don't like Dairyfine at all - it's like Dairy Milk and tastes cheap and nasty.

GiantKitten · 30/04/2019 12:13

The Choceur waves are disgustingly moreish. I can easily eat a whole pack of salted caramel in a very few minutes Blush & there is a dark choc version.

I also like the seasalt bars recommended above. Having separate wrapped bars slows me down Grin

SneakyGremlins · 30/04/2019 12:15

The mini packs of Choceur bars!!

the 30p bars aren't half bad either

MockerstheFeManist · 30/04/2019 12:18

The 30p bars are super, almost as good as Asda.

Myusernameisunique · 30/04/2019 12:20

I love the cherry chilli Moser Roth bars. They're my favourite from Aldi. The hazelnut choceur bar is lovely as well. Absolutely full to the brim with hazelnuts. I also like the dairyfine. I prefer the wholenut and fruit & nut bars to the plain chocolate bar though. The caramel buttons are good too!

Blackandpurple · 30/04/2019 12:21

Mosser Roth. Creamy and lovely with a nice cup of tea.

twosoups1972 · 30/04/2019 12:39

What a choice! Think I’ll have to try everything Grin

Choceur pretzel chocolate!!! Amazing!!
But I didn’t find it last week when I went ☹️ I hope it’s not been discontinued.

WoogleCone · 30/04/2019 12:51

Oooh the wholenut bar that's in a gold packet, I can scoff a whole one without even blinking. I love Aldi chocolate more than any of the other big brands. It is just better!

GooodMythicalMorning · 30/04/2019 12:55

came on to say Moser Roth too. its so good.

twosoups1972 · 03/05/2019 14:28

OMG it is all amazing! Smile How have not I discovered this before?? The Moser Roth is good but I love the chunkiness of the big Choceur bars.

And all their chocolate is palm oil free right?

Look out for the bar with hazelnuts.

Stravapalava · 03/05/2019 14:39

I like the choceur salted pretzel one. Also the dairyfine buttons are just like the old cadbury ones.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 03/05/2019 16:30

I scoffed an entire pack some of the salted chocolate ( I was saving my DMum from herself) Grin
It was lush
