Who told you you were entitled to it?
Did you get any extra income in the month after you applied l?

Your statement will give you a full breakdown on your calculation a d explain why you have been awarded £0

Goonergirl14 · 29/04/2019 21:06

As MsFrosty has said your payment statement will show what has nilled you. Without knowing your details obv it is possibly earnings which have been taken into account. It is very hard to advise if someone is entitled to UC until the first payment has been received, if earnings fluctuate UC can go up and down. It is a very confusing benefit (I do work for UC but I won't say anymore as I know it is unpopular!). I am sorry to hear about your experience on the phone, I would advise calling again you will hopefully get someone more helpful. The jobcentre will likely direct you to the service centre as they generally do not deal with account enquiries and some of them can be a bit clueless themselves!
