Has anyone come across an issue like this and know what to do?
I'm in the process of buying a used car from a recommended dealer on the AA website.
Did an HPI check, all is ok except the v5 issue date is different from what the AAhpi check says dvla has.
Emailed AA and they said advisable to not buy it unless it has the correct v5.
Dealer says, this happens a lot, it's the correct one because it has a bar code, they get it quite a lot, i can do tax etc when I'm back there and the registration doc will be sent off and I'll get mine back in around a week.
They have been dealing a good few years and considered to be of good reputation.
I really want this car.
Don't know what to do now, any ideas?
