My Hermes and lost parcel

I bought something off a lady on 22nd April.

She booked delivery with my hermes and dropped it off at a parcelshop the same day.

She gave me the tracking number and its says.

Orderplaced
Dropped at depot
Entered the network
Entered the network

And its not done anything since.

Is it lost :(

Is there anyway someone would go and look for the parcel!?
I don't want a refund really as its an item I've wanted for ages and was almost half retail price.

Am gutted.

That was all on 22nd April those tracking entries.

I had this with a box of yarn. I was refunded but then weeks later the box turned up. It had been ripped open and then badly resealed, no attempt to disguise it had been opened.

Contents were all there.

Fingers crossed they find yours.

Ask her to contact Hermes. Their default is usually that after 7 days it counts as lost and they'll refund her if she had insurance, but if they find the parcel, they will deliver it. Usually not in great condition; in my experience!

Oh that gives me hope.
It's not a small parcel either. Its a 16inch metal hedgehog wheel

Same thing happened to me...the website said it was in their depot for 3 weeks. After finally getting some answers, I was told they'd tried to deliver it 3 times and then it was returned. I was raging as I'd bought clothes in a sale and they were no longer available.

How frustrating magic 😑

My mum ordered something recently.

She was in but got carded the first time. This was impressive since they left card in her designated safe place! Then the parcel disappeared from the system for a few days, then appeared at the depot and was finally delivered to her designated safe place 10 days after they left the card there in the first place

It turned up ripped open, badly retaped and for some reason with half a dozen fist sized holes in the box

Happened to me too. I contacted Hermes numerous times and they kept fobbing me off. Eventually they accepted it has gone missing somehow and I had to contact the seller for a refund. Really irritating.

I'll ask her about a refund. Thanks
