calendar! With your excellent record for finding lost items, please help me find my family calendar. It's one of the large ones with one column per person and hangs on a hook in the kitchen. I took it up to the study to book some dates and am sure I then left it on the kitchen surface. Husband sometimes moves it to book sports fixtures but can't remember doing so recently. I'm bereft as it has ALL the dates for appointments, holiday flights, meetings for all of us and the animals. Where haven't I looked? Please help me Mumsnetters.

Did you do a quick tidy or clear the table, and temporarily put things in an odd place?
Do you have artistic children who are working quietly on a scissors & glue project? Smile

I think that's what must have happened, Cake. We think we've looked everywhere but obvs not. DC only interested in YouTube, sadly, so not them.

Recycle bin

YouveCatToBeKittenMe · 28/04/2019 15:10

It’s slipped down the back of a unit
That’s where mine is
I just haven’t got around to retrieving it

MemoryConcerns · 28/04/2019 15:12

Back of a radiator?

lucysmam · 28/04/2019 15:12

Fallen off the top of the chest freezer because you/dh didn't realise what it was when you lifted the lid (happens often here even though I know I put things on there!)

BoldMeDontAtMe · 28/04/2019 15:18

Mumsnet strikes again! I took the paper recycling bag into the lounge and emptied it all out. No calendar. As I turned to repack the bag, guess what I saw under a cushion lying flat on the chair where DH sits. The calendar. DH said he'd checked there yesterday, as it's where he sits to write in his sports fixtures. Aargh. So it's thanks to sackrifice that I found it. DH is blushing, as well he might. Thank you.

Anytime.

But you still have not found me my sleeping pad for camping SadGrin

The kids were fooling around with it and I removed it with the famous words: "Give this to me I put it somewhere safe before it gets damaged"
This was 12 years ago, we are still in the same flat and I have not seen it since.

ChipInTheSugar · 28/04/2019 15:49

Did that poster ever find her ironing board?

Aah, they damaged it so bad the next time you popped out, that they had to cut it into pieces, take a tiny piece to school every day and drop it randomly into bins at school. That's what happened to that.

@sackrifice

Now, that is a thought.
DS would be incapable but DD Hmm. She once drew a picture on the back of a failed test sheet and pinned it to the wall. Searched ages for that one.
