...we all post a photo and tell each other how great we are?

There is so much we miss about ourselves and we need a stranger to say how pretty we are etc

Can we have a nice affirming thread?

Sometimes I wonder if we hide away/worry about looks but you are right, this isn't the forum.

It’s a pointless exercise because if everyone did post their real photo with a view to being told how pretty they are they know it’s false because no one is going to be nasty and say they look like the back of a bus.

Yeah it wasn't about that.

Maybe we should say all the great things we do, so we all recognise our strengths. But that's harder for people to articulate, much easier to relieve the worry about looks, but anyway.

We all have insecurities but a stranger on the internet wouldn’t make me feel better about them tbh.

My point was that a stranger's viewpoint might be what someone needs but you've all made it clear
