Best flower delivery?

WokenUp · 27/04/2019 20:37

Wanted to send some lovely flowers to my DS' step mum as she arranged (and paid for) a fantastic holiday for him with his dad and her. It's his first holiday with his dad (DS is 14...) and without her he would probably have never got to go away with that side of the family. Whole other thread
Anyhoo, I appreciate her so has anyone got any recommendations for flower deliveries that they've used recently?
I hear next flowers are hit and miss and interflora just seem a bit blah and bland.
I don't often send flowers so am a novice at this!

Bloom and Wild or M&S.

Paddingtonthebear · 27/04/2019 20:43

I’ve had two birthday deliveries from Bloom and Wild which were so nice I have used them to send to friends

GetOffTheRoof · 27/04/2019 20:43

Posy & Posy. Stunning! Unusual set up where you make the bouquet as they send you the components (the recipient that is). It's so gorgeous and lasts weeks.

I've used Bloom and Wild about 10 times now for various parts of the country and all have been good, so for now I'm sticking with them

I've sent and received really lovely flowers through Clare Florist

FredaFox · 27/04/2019 21:03

Bloom and wild are great, I didn't rate freddies. Don't just appleyard flowers, terrible

WokenUp · 27/04/2019 21:04

Thank you, I think I'll go for the majority vote and choose Bloom & Wild.

Side note- they have colour changing peonies!!! Shock

Great timing! I've been wondering if Bloom and Wild were recommended as I need to send flowers to someone next week.

I'm another who doesn't rate Freddie's Flowers any more. They used to be really good but don't seem to be in very good condition when they get delivered now.

BloodyBosch · 28/04/2019 11:27

Serenata are fantastic. They send them out before they bloom so you get longer out of them. They also always look like the image online. I made a mistake recently and used another, but will stick with serenata from now on.

BikeRunSki · 28/04/2019 11:33

Bloom and Wild.

They are the only florist I use now.

luckylavender · 28/04/2019 12:49

Bloom and Wild are fantastic

Mummylin · 28/04/2019 13:30

I agree Bloom & wild are the best.

JaneEyre07 · 28/04/2019 13:35

Find her nearest florist.

You'll get far better value for money than postal services.

pinkgloves · 28/04/2019 13:51

@BloodyBosch

I had two bunches of flowers turn up 8 days late from Serenata!!

They refused to give me even a penny refund or deliver new flowers.

If you go on their Facebook or twitter you'll see thousands of similar cases. Although the delete the Facebook stuff quickly.

BloodyBosch · 28/04/2019 14:55

@pinkgloves I'm so shocked- every delivery has been perfect and on time for me and I've used them at least a dozen times

Paddingtonthebear · 28/04/2019 14:58

Don't bother with Inter flora HmmConfused

@Orangecake123, old thread but I've just googled 'best flower delivery' and it came up....I've used your code, thanks!

Givemecoffeeplease · 30/01/2021 18:46

Sharing my code too! AnnaS9740
Freddie’s flowers use minimal plastic and have ace customer service. I’ve been so happy with their service and the flowers have boosted my lockdown. Fortnightly is more than enough. Last for ages!

MabelStark · 31/01/2021 10:44

If anyone wants to try Bloom & Wild for the first time here's my referral code. It's £10 off your order and I get a £10 credit too.

Bloom and Wild have been great for several deliveries for me - thanks for those codes, people, and for using my referral codes. I’m wondering about whether asking for a subscription for my birthday - no one knows what to get. I don’t actually like getting gifts really, even if the person has tried , but I like flowers. Any experience?
