My child of 7 has made up a big lie and said her father and friend have hit him, police involved but said it didn’t happen.
Child told me that they feel dad abandoned them and went to live with friend and their family while getting own place, how can I reassure them it will be ok when they still think dad abandoned them and dad doesn’t not try as much as he did when lived at home.
Dad has not supported the children emotionally after me asking time and time again we need to chat with children.
He sees them twice a week but still takes them to friends rather than spending time with kids.
How can I help without looking the bitter ex?
