Discovered a week ago that DCs have bed bugs in their room. They will hopefully move back into their treated room tonight, minus most of their possessions which are currently boxed up.
Then discovered they are in our room too, living in the fabric headboard of our lovely expensive Warren Evans bed, which is only about 18m old :(
I don't think just vacuuming and spraying will do it, and we have very little money.
I can probably rustle up £150, with it should I:
a) buy a decent Karcher steamer that should hopefully kill the feckers (but may damage the fabric)?;
b) buy a cheap, functional bed from Ikea to tide us over until we redo house in 12-18 months (could possibly then pass on to one of the teen DCs);
c) nuke the house and go live in a tent/caravan?
I have already had to buy 2dcs new beds, and then spend nearly £200 on traps, sprays, powders, foggers etc. Our house is also cluttered do we have had to undertake a big decluttering exercise which should really help.
Thanks
