Sorry it's long winded!
Me and my partner, two children and baby on the way, are currently going to be moving 3 hours from where we live. My sons father has recently come back into his life after 5 years of no contact (a choice made by the father). He took me to court and got contact every 2weeks for 2hours on a Saturday. Baring in mind my son didn't know who he was in person as he was 1 when he left (he knew he had a dad and what his name was and an old photo I had). Anyway me and my partner (we have been together for 4 years) have decided to move to be closer to his parents as his mothers health has deteriorated and we feel this would benefit all our children education wise as well as life in general. We have two 9 year olds a 6 year old and baby due in September. My question is will sons father be able to stop us from moving ie take us back to court? I am able to offer longer contact on the day he sees him and he already has phone contact in the weeks he doesn't see him so that could increase too. He currently isn't allowed to have overnight contact as it's still early in the getting to know him stage as contacts only happened 5 times since court. Any help would be much appreciated and sorry again for the long post!
