How often do you eat out/get takeaways?

And how much would you say you on average spend on it in a month?

I’m currently trying to save and have tracked all my expenditures and I’m shocked to see that I’ve spent over £200 on eating out/takeaways this month - not including normal food shopping!

We eat out a couple of times a week, and with lunches and coffees, I've just worked out is about £400 a month which is terrible. Need to cut back!!

Once a month a take away £30-£40

Hardly ever get a takeaway, maybe 3 or 4 times a year. Eat a cheap lunch in cafe once or twice a week I'd say, then a more expensive lunch a couple of times a month. Dinners out are very rare with two small DC.

I came on to say I couldn't believe how many people spend £200 or more on eating out every month.

I've now added our spending up and with Costa, takeaways and meals out I reckon we spend between £150-200 per month. Shit 😲

Eat out about 3 times a week
Always lunch on a Thursday or Friday
Always dinner Friday or Saturday
And normally one other random meal
Don't really want to think about how much!

Takeaway maybe 4-5 times a year
Eating out varies, we can go for a couple of months, then eat out 4x a month.
We don’t add it up, but we do tend to use O2 offers, etc if eating at pizza express and similar. Almost always lunchtime (DC)

We have a takeaway around twice a month at a cost of around £50 in total. We eat out once or twice a month, but usually a pub lunch so maybe spend around £35 per time. So about £120 per month for a family of three.
