Hi all, I returned to work in February. My lo is now 12 months old. I work shifts and have a long commute so for two days I don't see lo at all. He's in bed when I leave the house and in bed when I return, the following day, after the two day shifts, I work a night shift so he goes to nursery for a few hours in the day while I sleep and again the following day after my night shift so I can sleep again. Its taking its toll. I feel awful. I can't afford to change jobs and I'm aware I only really work 3 days and so quite lucky but I know he's really upset. When I picked him up from nursery earlier he just wouldnt let go of me. He's always been clingy but I'm so teary I feel awful. Do any here work similar situations and found their lo has adapted well eventually. Changing jobs or hours is not currently possible at all
