Potty training

Currently potty training my little girl
She's 3 years and 2 months
Day 3 today
One accident today and she has been taking her self to the potty for wees and poo
Day 2
She would dribble wee on the floor and stop her self and say ' uh oh ' and go to the potty and do a big wee
About 3 accidents
Day 1
Nursery day
2 accidents and nursery was taking her to the potty every 30 minutes

So we are going in the right direction
My question is she does lots of wees

So today
8am,9am,10am and then 3pm,4pm,5pm,5.40pm and 6.10pm
Also proper wees
Will she go less often as time goes on ?
She has always wet nappies often to

What does she drink?

Yes she is still learning what ‘needing a wee’ feels like. Once she can trust herself to gauge urgency she’ll stretch them out.

Water mostly and the odd cup of squash
She has drunk about 3 half pint fulls today

She's doing very well but I am worried we're be looking for a toilet every 10 minutes when out

My DS was like this at the start, lots of little wees, he'd go 5 times in an hour. Now he can go 2-4 hours between having a wee. And he will tell me he needs a wee in the car but can hold it until we get to where there is a loo.

I still put DS in a pull up when we went out at the start but he would still start to ask for the toilet.

The thing is she is doing a decent wee each time

We went out today and she was in a pull up
Come home and it was empty
Took it off and she ran straight to the potty

And she has just gone again

Don't worry about it Hun, they will get used to the feeling and no go as much. Good luck xx

She used to wee through a nappy every 3 ish hours to

But not a single accident and she is asking / taking her self to the potty

Hurrah !

Avoid blackcurrent squash as it makes children wee lots.
