Weeks ago, my reels of black and white cotton went missing

I've hunted high, and low, in the room where I last had them...and they're still nowhere to be seen. I am baffled as to where they've gone!

I even went as far as to sort out, and organise, my sewing box and thread bag, in the hopes of finding them

Your children have used them for very important games?

If you are like me the last place they will be is in the sewing box.
Have you tried down the side of the sofa ?

I clicked on this so I'd know where they were. We want closure!

Redshoe they're most definitely not in sewing box or bag of threads, I've looked again this morning. I don't sit on the sofa but will check, you never know!

Nope, not down the side of the sofa. Dd1 will be happy though; her missing playing card was down there!

I lost my black thread spool and found it 6 months later in the kitchen with a needle still on it.

It was even hidden so no idea how I didn't see It.

You still haven't found them?
My best one was the needle I dropped had fallen into the "cuff" of my trouser turn-ups!
I have found numerous things in the DCs' turn-ups since! (Sadly, mainly "special" Lego pieces etc!)

They're beside my black plastic hair clip that dematerialised 6 months ago.

Complete pain as I had to trawl eBay to replace it!

My job requires such things to be a) black, and b) plastic.

They've run off with the ironing board from that other thread.
