NC fail...I obviously didn’t name change just to talk about my love of TayTayHmmGrin

DesperadoDan · 26/04/2019 08:35

My DS has been the same this morning except he’s a teenage non verbal kid (severe SN) I have no idea what he’s jabbering about but he’s very happy which is good enough for me Grin

lucysmam · 26/04/2019 09:06

DesperadoDan so long as he's happy!

Dd has gone back to bed to listen to the single again...and probably again...

I can't wait for 9yo dd2 to get up, she'll love it too! And then they'll both baffle me with Taylor Swift facts for the day Hmm Grin

How old are you dc OP?

My daughter is still very influenced by her dad when it comes to music (she is 4) she sings Blondie-tide is high on repeat. Even at 6.30am! Grin
Although I was treated to Purple Rain for a change this morning

lucysmam · 26/04/2019 09:46

@NorthernRunner dd1 is 12, dd2 is 9.

Tbf, dd1 has been a Taylor Swift fan since she was maybe 8 years old or so. She sang 'Shake it Off' in a school talent show one year Grin. Practised for ages!

My day starts like this...
"Mummy can I have some breakfast? What cereal have we got? On operation ouch they showed you what happens to food as it goes into your intestines. How long are your intestines? Do you know that once you've eaten food it takes [however long] to digest it and then eventually you poo it out. I need to go to the toilet in a minute. Oh, at school yesterday [child] said that he had a holiday in Africa but he couldn't because that isn't a country and I told him and he told the teacher and she told me to not interrupt but I wan't I was just telling him he was wrong. Africa is a continent. We learned about that in reception. I would like to go on a safari one day, maybe to South Africa. Don't you have a friend who works out there? Do you know what was funny? On the worst witch mildred said that she could fly the broomstick but she couldn't and she crashed it into a tree and Miss Hardbroom was cross with her and can I have a yogurt now? You know that song by George Ezra, the one that goes shotgun, underneath the hot sun, I don't like that song. I have made up a dance to Shake it off, let me show you...

This goes on and on until we get to the school gate and then carries on from pick up time until bedtime. She talks in her sleep too.
