Bit of a stupid question about slippers

I have “suedette” slippers with thin furry lining inside. It says on the label not to wash them. So how do I clean them, can I chuck them in a wool wash in the machine and hope for the best? Although I shower every day I’ve always had quite smelly feet! When I left a bank I worked in (among other things) they gave me a body shop foot spray as a gift

You can’t (well you can, but you’ve no comeback if they shrink/fall to pieces). This is why I only buy slippers which have “machine washable” labels.

What are you going to do with them If you don't wash them? Keep wearing stinky slippers or throw them out?

If you're going to throw then you've nothing to lose by seeing if you can wash them.
