So - have a large-ish living room, square but leads off into the kitchen (Open plan). Dark Wood floor. Magnolia walls with a single 'Stone' coloured wall. All too bland. One lovely oil-painting done by my Aunt which is of flowers in vibrant, clashing yellows, pinks, purples, red .
Current layout - come into room (Door in one corner) and i have a charcoal-grey corner sofa. More of a 3seater with a Chaise on the end taking it along the back wall a bit. Problem is that if I have friends over, we sit in a line of 3 on the sofa, and it's not great for chatting! (Good for TV watchin tho).
I would like to replace the corner sofa - have been looking at 2 x 2-seater sofas are right angles to each other - would this look like a waiting room, d'you think? Looking at this one in Grey and one in the olive or yellow.
Or this one in similar colours.
The advantage of those is that they are cheap!
Also looking at that which looks cosier?
Help me! I have only got a max of 250cm along this wall, so if I have them at right angles I have to account for the width of one and the depth of the other, IYSWIM. I'd ideally like to have a table in the corner with a table lamp on it, for more 'ambience', which is why I'm veering away from another corner sofa.
