Why am I getting spiders already? NO PICTURES

I hate spiders, but I've always accepted that in the autumn they're going to be visible in the house. My DP deals with them while I'm a sobbing wreck.

I've had 5 big house spiders in the last week or two. I thought this was the wrong time of year for them, and I don't get why they're here ☹️ please don't post any photos, I really don't want to see them.

Me too!! I've had about 4 in the past couple days. I hate them and I've got a phobia also

I saw a huge one in the shower after I'd stepped in. Normally I can deal with themself but this one really was freaking huge and I immediately legged it and made DP deal with it .

Weirdly found a bit bugger running across my lounge last night - only third one here in 4 years!

Either that or the dog eats them.

Worst day ever was grabbing a

It's been warm weather for a week.

TwatCat can't believe his luck. And it'll be better than last year, where we were fucking inundated with bastarding flies instead until our Friendly Neighbourhood Arachnids got their acts together and made lots of little baby Arachnids to take advantage of the increase. The birds will be happy, too.

But I thought it was when it turns cooler that the GHSs start to come in. September usually? We don’t normally have them all summer. So why would this week’s warm weather bring them in?

My dog thinks it's Christmas, three big fuck off ones today. Dog "plays" with them and it gets in her whiskers then she comes trying to fucking lick me with it crawling on her mouth.

I assume it's because the flys are out more in the heat so more food for the spiders? I just made that up though so could be bollocks

I've always noticed there is a mini spider season in April when it starts to get warmer. I've had one huge one, and a couple of smaller ones over the past week.

Hopdfully it won't last much longer.
