Hi, I'm looking at buying the Fire 8 for DS age 8 birthday but am totally un techy and don't want to get the wrong thing!
We're late to the tablet party in our house but DS is pretty switched on with tech and gaming stuff and I think he'll outgrow the kids version too quickly so I'm looking at buying the normal non-kid version.
My question is are they basically the same thing, the normal version and the adult one? Is the only difference the parental control app thing (which I will buy)? Not keen on him having access to You Tube unless I can limit this somehow but not sure what's on the tablet app wise, and how it all works.
Can anyone help me?!
