Loans and money problems

Hi All

I need to take a loan out! Basically, long story short, I'm moving abroad for a year asap as I need to get away and focus on my self and my studies

Is there anyway I can take a loan out for around £5000 but pay nothing for a year? I want to live work free to focus completely on my studies. So literally pay nothing back for a year then make the payments after 12 months.(I'm not planning on spending the entire £5k and I have a job to return to so I am able to pay the loan back straight away )

I don't mean to be a downer, but from a financial responsibility perspective, this rings all the alarm bells for being really risky, extremely rash and potentially damaging.

Honestly, the fact that you're trying to do this asap and to get away and focus makes it sounds like you're under significant stress or emotional pressure. Is everything okay? Take it from someone who has been there and is climbing out, if this is the case, do not add debt to this picture.

If moving abroad for a year to study is something you want to do, save the money and do it that way. If you're doing this because you're under stress I think you need to address the root cause.
