Ai file I cant open it!!!

I need to open an Ai file...wont let me any ideas???

Do you have Adobe illustrator? Inkscape might open the file as a free alternative or Google free ai converter for an online conversion to a jpg?

Im.having a banner made so just need to send it to tge printer/supplier...will they be able to.open it????

If they have illustrator they will be able to open it. If you onky need to see it/ not work on it, ask the sender to save it as a pdf file and you will be able to see it.

You can get Illustrator on a free trial basis for a month which would enable you to open it and work on it or move around it

Ive seen a screen shot of it and it is what the printer needs...so Ive forwarded it. Surely they must be able to open it as it's the Art Dept at the printers. On a deadline they need it by 9am so they can produce ready for Friday!!!

Yes they will be able to open it. If they can’t, they are a fairly crap art department!
